Valley of the Ancient
Every now and then you get a special opportunity to work on something truly new. That’s what this project was for me. I did all of the “robot” animation for this piece while working with Aaron Sims Creative and Epic. This was part of the launch of Unreal Engine 5, and one of the features being shown off was the fact that the all the animation could be done within Unreal itself.
You can see the video at the bottom with some of the exploration I did in Maya before the Unreal rig was ready. And of course, you’ve gotta have some good old embarrassing video reference.
